Pumpkin seed oil is mostly recommended orally, it is rich in minerals, trace elements, vitamins, omegas 3 and 6, sterols.

The variety we grow for this purpose is the Cucurbita pepo, of the styriaca variety.

Pleasant and useful in the kitchen, this oil should not be heated but rather when added daily to salads it helps combat intestinal parasites, especially in children. It is recommended for prostate conditions and irritations of the urinary tract as well as for canker sores in the mouth and constipation.

When applied topically, it fades wrinkles and stretch marks.

Known for its excellent antioxidant properties, consists of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids: naturally abundant in essential antioxidants, nourishing omega fatty acids 6 & 9 and powerful polyphenols, all of which help protect the skin from damaging free radicals.

This oleic acid is a nourishing anti-ageing, multi-purpose oil that balances, restores, refreshes and rehydrates the skin. It is especially recommended for dry irritated skin, but beware because its smell is highly addictive!

You can add virgin organic Grapeseed oil to improve absorption. It becomes particularly beneficial when combined with Sea Buckthorn oil.

Most of the Grapeseed oils you will find on the market are obtained by solvent extraction and then refined.

Our Grapeseed oil on the other hand is a virgin, ultra pure organic oil which has been obtained by a traditional extraction system using a first cold pressed mechanical process.

An important difference!

Extremely rich in essential fatty acids, Grapeseed oil regulates skin excretion and is particularly recommended for greasy skin.

It’s ideal when associated with Hemp or Jojoba oil.

As a general rule, if any of the oils you use are greasy or leave an greasy film on your skin the secret is to add a little grapeseed oil which greatly improves absorption.

Edible Tigernut or yellow nutsedge is a herbaceous plant of the papyrus family.

It grows in meadows and along waterways in the Mediterranean basin. Its tubers are used in flour, juice, or left to dry and a naturally anti-inflammatory, healing and nourishing oil is subsequently extracted from it. Applied to the skin, it improves elasticity and slows the effects of ageing. Additionally, it is traditionally used pure to limit the regrowth of body hair and soothe razor burn. It may also be used as a base for a homemade deodorant; when used on a daily basis it will also limit the growth of armpit hair.

In summary, it is indicated for dry, mature skin and to reduce body hair.

From a nutritional standpoint, it is rather similar to olive oil in that it is an antioxidant, anti-cholesterol and is beneficial for digestive transit.
